Process Approach, management model implemented in more than one million businesses in the world, is often denigrated by the very people who did not bother to measure the potential benefits.
However, applied with discernment, this concept has a high potential of improvement for organizations. This approach actually has the major advantage of no longer consider the company as a whole, but as a system made from sub-systems with their own aims, but working towards a common goal.
The advantage is that by improving elements, it is possible to increase the performance of whole.
The thread of this paper is to attempt a rehabilitation of this concept by the understanding of its main theoretical elements, but also, through the observation of actual instances of business, highlight how some influences can interact with the deployment of the approach process and, consequently, with the performance of the organization.
Finally, in the absence of any mode of standardized deployment, the goal of this paper is to give managers the understanding keys necessary for a successful implementation of this concept of management.
